The Friends of the Carlisle Council on Aging is a non-profit volunteer organization devoted to the raising of funds in support of the Carlisle Council on Aging, which is not allowed by law to involve itself in any fundraising. We seek to enrich the lives
of Carlisle senior citizens through programs, activities and other needs of the COA.
Some of our endeavors include:

•Provide fuel assistance and food certificates to qualified seniors

•Sponsor cultural and educational programs with the Gleason Library

•Conduct blood pressure and podiatry clinics

•Subsidize fitness classes and exercise programs
-
•Underwrite medical equipment and services

•Run a variety of social events for seniors throughout the year.

•Donate to the Town Elderly and Disabled Fund for property tax reduction
-
•Purchase large-print-books, tapes and age related items for the Library
-
•Plan intergenerational programs and activities
